Where Light Dwells was inspired by the beauty of an Arizona sunset and a stunning piece of stained glass. The color and movement of the glass speaks to the vibrant beauty of a sunset, and the rest of the mosaic was born from highlighting this material. The title comes from the biblical story of Job and his encounter with the Creator of the universe, who rhetorically asks Job, “Where is the way where light dwells, and as for darkness, where is its place?”   This encounter reminds me that understanding the beauty of creation is often beyond our comprehension.
